I just ducked out to grab a sandwich from a local deli. It was only 5 turns into my drive that I realized I was going in completely the opposite direction, and was about to turn into the parking lot where the Subway restaurant was.
The turkey sub turned out to be just fine, but I definitely was on autopilot there for a few minutes. An autopilot that was programmed by a group of chattering chimpanzees.
