Don’t Forget to Favorite Your Favorite Yod Hunt Entries!

I guess since Yod said this last week's contest is going by the revised monkey right rules (see original post to the right), all the Yod Hunt group people need to favorite the posts this week that they like the most, so Yod and the monkey crew can determine who gets the "Group  Favorite" prize (an electronic ribbon to display on their vox entry.)

Although you may have already done this, I totally forgot about it.  To help out anyone else who also forgot, here's the list of entries from this past contest.  I'm sure Yod and the monkey crew would appreciate if you went ahead and favorited the posts you like the best, so they could finish tallying the votes…say by…Thursday at midnight, PST?

Edit: Although you're more than welcome to favorite individual pictures, I think the "Group Favorite" prize should only be counted by the # of favorites on the overall post.  This way you've got a normalized # of favorites per entry to compare against.  So make sure that you favorite the posts you want to win Group Favorite, and not just individual pictures.

In the order that they are listed in the YH Group:

snoringKatZ
Groovymarlin
War & Peace Goddess
Crankypants
Laurie
Jody
Lizzie
Ross

Quick Quiz – Odd Lady

What is odd about the lady in the picture below?

Your Choices:

A. She's listening to Rush Limbaugh talk about Oxycontin addiction (yeah, must be a tape or some radio station replaying it).

B. She's eating a home-made salad while parked outside of a Subway restaurant.

C. She has two stuffed teddy bears in the back seat, each buckled into a seatbelt.  She is talking to them like they are her children.

D. Nothing is odd about her – except that she got out of her car and screamed at me through my closed window for taking this photo.

Choose wisely, there is only one correct answer.  I'll reveal the correct answer later today/tomorrow in the comments.

The DQ #42 – October 2, 2007

"Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow. But he won't know what to make of your blinker signal that says you are about to turn right. This is to let him know you're pulling off for a proper place to talk. It will take him a moment to realize that he's about to make a 180 degree turn at speed, but you will be ready for it. Brace for the g's, and fast heel-toe work."
