An oldie-but-goodie, here's an easy way to make your own paper CD case for that loose CD you've got sitting around. I've used this a number of times when I've been at the office and just needed something quick-and-simple to keep a disc separated from the random crap that seems to float across my desk. Might also be fun for gifts, as you can decorate 'em any way you want after you fold them…

Check out this site:http://www.papercdcase.com/It lets you put artist/album info on the paper and gives you handy folding lines to use.

That's awesome! I definitely could see myself using that for CDs I just want to grab off the spindle and give to someone without "wasting" a jewel case.

Oh gosh. I NEED to learn how to do this — am really not good at this kind of stuff, though I always need CD cases and never can find any in the mess that is my living space. Thanks for sharing. Now I have to practice!

This is good! You should add this to the group, The Green Life. I used to do this (not as well, mind you) with paper when I worked for the EPA. It was convenient, made sense.

I'm not sure I'd consider this a Green solution to CD storage. At most, these paper CD cases are good for temporary storage and are hard to re-use multiple times. I'd have to look and see what the trade-off is between buying a pack of reusable plastic CD cases vs. rolling your own before I considered this a true Green solution.
